Into the Lion’s Den

The Conservative Political Action Conference is rolling into Washington on Thursday, and you can feel a change in the air on military matters.

Sure, Battleland’s own Mackenzie Eaglen will be on a panel arguing for more:

…but retired Army office Doug MacGregor will be a one-man band (hey, you gotta start somewhere) arguing for less:

The annual CPAC gathering is co-sponsored by a Tea Party outfit, which seems less reflexively a-big-military-is-a-better-military than other conservative groups. Plus, the Eaglen panel has serious competition: at the same time, just down the hall at Washington’s Marriott Wardman Park hotel, is a panel on “Conservative Dating” led by “Professional Dating Coach Wayne Elise.”

    Honor, Stigma…and PTSD

    Trash Talk…

Trash can be deadly. You can get a hint of that from the contract solicitation issued Tuesday by the Defense Logistics Agency’s European disposition office seeking “hazardous waste services in southwest Asia.”
