…when President Obama crossed the Potomac last Friday, he was on a mission to reclaim enemy territory. In an unusual move, he made the budget announcement from within the Pentagon itself.
That’s reporter Michael Hastings blogging about President Obama’s visit to the Pentagon last week to announce his Administration’s new military strategy. Except that Obama appeared at the Pentagon podium on Thursday, not Friday. Kinda makes you wonder about Hastings’ Rolling Stone piece 18 months ago that got Army General Stanley McChrystal fired as the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan.
