Oh No! China Has Our Super-Secret Osama-Getting Helicopter!

That’s bad news. We always knew we couldn’t trust our Pakistani allies to keep valuable technology like the heavily-modified MH-60 Black Hawks, used to ferry Navy SEALs to Osama bin Laden’s Pakistani lair, from the reverse-engineering whizzes of the Middle Kingdom. You may recall reports that the commandos had to abandon one of the quiet and stealthy birds inside bin Laden’s compound after a hard landing. That led to concerns that its secrets might be shared with the Chinese.

The good news? It’s only a model, just released by the Hong Kong-based Dragon Models. Even better news: it only costs $15.95.

Obama Cleverly Leading from Behind — Again

The quiet coalition has come together to reverse the decline of the opposition rebel forces in Syria, according to this nice front-pager in Wednesday’s Washington Post.  Much like in the case of Libya, the Obama Administration is hanging back and letting the local “market” determine his military response.  He simply refuses to take the strategic lead, which is frustrating to many and yet decidedly clever on his part.
