Happy 69th, Kim Jong Il

The happy citizens of North Korea took to the streets of their capital of Pyongyang Wednesday to celebrate the birthday of their authoritarian mob boss, Kim Jong Il. Reports from the isolated regime show throngs of troops and school kids offering flowers to, and bowing before, a giant statue of him. But the footage looks pretty lame, so we’ve posted a more joyous, rockin’, juche — NoKo for self-reliant — video of North Korean life in honor of the Dear Leader’s 69th.

Synchronized Marching to celebrate the dictator’s birthday.

Isn’t synchronized marching what The Tea Party did to celebrate Reagan’s birthday?

Sorry, that was synchronized talking point recitals.

It would be nice, but I’m afraid the 50 years of isolation might make it a little more difficult to pull off. They need some new age social networking to get the ball rolling.

Maybe we can air drop all of our old, used computers and such. Pre-loaded with social media, and videos of what it really is to live life.

At first glance, I took it for a video of the October 2010 Democrat, union, and communist Washington rally. Then I realized that the people in this video were too clean and neat.

This celebration reminds me of Sarah Palin’s tour stops and the reception her equally devoted followers give her upon arrival…

This celebration reminds me of what most all liberals have in mind for this country. Barry Obama, “dear Leader” indeed!!

Now come on, Paullie, we all know that if you gather fifteen Democrats we end up marching in fifteen different directions.

At the rate he’s going, the president will be a Republican in 2012.
    .
He ran on single payer health care.
    .
He passed Bob Dole’s, Richard Nixon’s, Mitt Romney’s health care in a big shift to the right.
    .
Now he’s cutting heating fuel to the poor just like GWB did – and Hugo Chavez went through the Harlem and The Bronx giving away Venezuelan heating fuel.
    .
So, as I see it, in about two more years of shifting to the right, he’ll make Ronald Reagan look like a leftist.

    patricksartor@4.1,

Considering the point on the left where Obama started, his move to the right would reach Republican a little later than 2012. It would more likely be 20012 before he got there.
